What it is: Botox and Dysport are FDA approved neuromodulators. They are clinically proven cosmetic procedures that help reduce and prevent wrinkles.

Botox is injected into the muscle to temporarily interrupt the nerve-muscle communication, causing the skin in the treated area to relax and heal. This treatment improves moderate to severe frown lines, crow's feet and forehead lines in adults. Other areas we can treat are the jawline, upper lip, chin and neck.

In addition, it is used medically to treat jaw clenching and excessive sweating.

What is the difference between Botox and Dysport?

Dysport activates within 5-7 days, Botox activates in 7-10 days.
Dysport contains one extra protein (cows milk protein) which Botox does not. Dysport is not advised for those with a severe milk allergy.
